Short Film: “In My Life”
‘In My Life’ is a mixed media (live action and animated) short film project with the intention to investigate the effects of both loneliness and support on a person afflicted with dementia. The project aims to provide an uplifting narrative to educate the youth of today on handling those afflicted by dementia and on how to support them, and raise awareness of loneliness amongst the elderly. It also covers relationship with the family, emphasizing on value of time and forgiveness.
Behind the scenes
In this project I was in charge of project management: managing team meetings and recording minutes, setting deadlines and creating Gantt Chart, making sure every team member is delivering work on time, organizing meetings with supervisor. Also, I was casting director and was responsible for finding the right actors for the part. On the shoot days I was co-cinematographer and camera handler.
